- I wouldn't say 'none', but certainly clones and especially 16550A-equivalent
- functionality in multifunction chips is becoming far more popular.

- The 16550 bugs were worked out in the 16550A, circa 1987. I've heard of a bug
- that affects the 16550A (the so-called '17th byte bug'), but have never seen a
- 16550A hiccup. The 16550 clones' bugs were worked out after that, but it's a
- fairly clean market today.
